en I've been trying to get to the Super Bowl all these years both as a player and coach and I look across the field and see the team I played with for 10 years, a team I have fond memories of and some time invested in. I'm happy for their fans that they're at this point, but I hope they don't win on Sunday.

You know, Adam has been a big part of this team for a number of years and his game-winning kicks, Super Bowl kicks, and all that, so he will be missed by his teammates, but it's just the nature of the business. He will be forever etched in the memories of New England sports fans.

There'll be a right time, and it'll be clear in my mind exactly what it is.

en It does surprise me how loyal the fans are here in Detroit. Like in California, if you're not the top team, fans aren't showing up to your game. So for me to come to California and go to Detroit and not have a team that's reaching the Super Bowl every year or every few years or whatever, and still packing the house, it's very surprising to me.

we had our lumps in our Super Bowl years. It’s not unusual, but I believe

en I love to play football. I'm looking forward to a good year. Win a Super Bowl - that's all I want to do. I'm professional enough to give 110 percent. I want to win. For myself. the team, and the fans. I feel I've been a leader for a lot of years on this team. I'm going to do my part and play as hard as I can.

en Not that I doubted it, but I feel a lot better about our chances to compete against every team we step on the field against after last week. We played a team that went two rounds deep in the playoffs that has had the same coach and system for 16 years. Our system was just four weeks old at that point.

en We have to keep the nucleus together, and plug in some new faces, and we'll be fine. One thing about winning a Super Bowl is that everybody wants a player off that Super Bowl team. They're very hot commodities. Unfortunately for our team, you can't pay everybody.

en We think that this is the best player that we've had in years and years in this organization. At this time in August, we're a great team. We'll see where we are in November, but we're really, really excited to have Peter here with us, and we hope he puts the finishing touches on our team.

en No question. I felt, a couple of those years, we had the best team, that was the sad part. All three years, I felt we had the better team (better than the three eventual Super Bowl winners).

en We are a sister team, for lack of a better description, with Joe Gibbs Racing. But within three years, I think our goal would be to be a stand-alone team. en You can't compare a Super Bowl crowd, which tends to be more polite and a little more neutral to that. The Super Bowl only has 7,000 to 8,000 fans for each team.
