'Lauren' should be an adjective in itself. She's her own kind of person.

I notice that you use plain, simple language, short words and brief sentences. That is the way to write English - it is the modern way and the best way. Stick to it; don't let fluff and flowers and verbosity creep in. When you catch an adjective, kill it. No, I don't mean utterly, but kill most of them - then the rest will be valuable. They weaken when they are close together. They give strength when they are wide apart. An adjective habit, or a wordy, diffuse, flowery habit, once fastened upon a person, is as hard to get

Lauren will be a great contrast to many of our other forwards at UNF. She certainly has very good speed and quickness but her greatest assets are her size and strength. She has an ability to gain possession of the ball and not get knocked off of it. Lauren will also be better in the air than any forward we have had at UNF. And to complete her skill set Lauren is equally gifted with either foot.

You can really credit that to Lauren. Sometimes it just takes one player to set the tone and everybody else will follow, and [Tuesday] night it was definitely Lauren that did that for us.

Lauren is the MVP. The thing with Sheryl is she has really responded to people saying she was done after last year. She's come back and had a great season, but Lauren gives you more at both ends.

One adjective - kind - is repeated by all who knew Peter. Peter was also a devoted husband, father, grandfather and son.

I would say that Lisa is kind of a natural for the Air Force. She's the kind of person who likes the discipline of that kind of life. She's very dedicated and a very level-headed person.

The days of Lauren practicing every day, full practices every day, are gone. This last stress fracture showed Lauren the importance of being realistic and honest about her pain level.

I'm not that person, ... I'm a storyteller. I'm an entertainer. I'm an actor. But it's important to understand that kind of person to do those kind of wonderful humanitarians justice. I really tried to get into their skin. I met people in Africa out in the field who possess that kind of dedication. I tried to absorb who they were in order to understand them and hopefully portray that kind of passion and commitment in my performance.

That fifth year helps a lot of players. They are more mature physically and mentally. Part of being a good player like Lauren is that teams try and take her out. With the exception of a couple of games, Lauren has been solid for us. She's so consistent; you know what you're going to get out of her every game.

Lauren is always the loudest, funniest person in the room. She enjoys talking and getting people laughing. She puts the exclamation point on everything.

Alyssa and Lauren were great tonight. Alyssa stepped up big-time on both sides of the ball and Lauren hit some huge three point shots.

We'll be relying on Lauren to step up although we have depth now that the season has progressed. We're going to miss Teresa, but I'm sure Lauren will probably step up. We think we're good enough. All of our girls are capable.

Situations like that are when Lauren is in her domain. She's such a competitor and she refuses to get rattled. You can't teach that kind of composure.
