en It might be one of the best games we've had at the start. We've got to set the tone early (because) it's playoff time. Everybody wanted to find the open man. That's how you win championships.

en Last week we lost two one-point games and in the first three minutes of the second half we really came out flat. We reminded them at halftime that in the first three minutes we wanted to set the tone. Well, we didn't set the tone. Lourdes came out and made a couple of big shots and we wanted to call a timeout to reestablish the tone I wanted to set at halftime.

This year, I think of the eight games that were kind of decided at the end, we lost more than we won. Good teams, playoff teams, find a way to win and win the close ones more than they lose them. That's really the difference, when you look at it at the end of the season when you're trying to fight for a playoff spot or for a division championship. Unfortunately, we were on the losing end of those. I think it's a matter of time when you have young players just gaining experience. You learn how to win.

en It's always a key to get off to a good start in a playoff game. This is an exciting time of year. You never know when the other team is going to bust it open. You want to show some confidence against who you're playing. It's so important to get off to a fast start, and it definitely felt good.

en That is what a playoff team looks like. There is a reason they go to the playoffs every year and have won three world championships. They got off to a fast start.

en I've been doing a lot of training since the world championships last year. I won silver in the 2002 Commonwealth Games so I wanted gold this time.

en It's playoff time, and you want to do good, and you want to get off to a great start. Also, I think the last three or four games, we didn't play that much. ...
