en I am really proud of the way the team competed throughout the league. We showed tremendous growth in our three competition dates. The league is an integral part of our spring season. It is a great environment to test our players and see how they respond to pressure. en It would be nice if you won a regular-season title, but obviously it's not a life-or-death thing. Our No. 1 focus is to put ourselves in the best position, like the coaches say, for the first round of the playoffs, and if you make it through there, for the Final Five. Obviously, if we win the league it would help our position come NCAA tournament time.

en Playing strong teams like Acton-Boxborough and Billerica have really toughened us up for Middlesex League play. A year ago we weren't ready for league play. Now we're in game shape. We'll definitely be a contender for the league title. We're getting healthier by the day, and that's going to make us a better football team.

en By season five the title will be about 30 or 40 words long.

en It wouldn't matter what year this was, winning a league title ... we didn't even dream of that at the beginning of the season. We lost four starters from last season, so we're a young team and the future looked bright. We just didn't think the future would be here yet.
