Coming into the game ordspråk

en Coming into the game, Coach (Six) told me to stop her. We denied the wings really hard, because that's where their offense starts.

en Other coaches have said to me it looks like our offense goes through him most of the time. And it does. At some point he has to touch the ball and every coach knows that. They are coming out to try and stop it, so Tyler has to work especially hard on the offensive end to keep people from stopping him.

en It made them fold. With our athleticism, when we work together it is so hard to stop us. Our offense usually comes off our defense. It starts with a lay-up then we go outside.

en It was a tough loss [Friday], but we had to put it behind us. It happens to every team. Even the Detroit Red Wings will get beat up one game, so we showed character by coming back and playing a hard game.

en Coach told us to play our game and don't change our offense or defense. This is our game to win.

en I had a bunch of missed calls from Coach Nolan. I thought maybe Thomas had gotten hurt. But then I called and Coach Nolan told me what had happened. It was very difficult for him to talk about. Injuries are part of the game. But the last thing you ever think about is not coming home from a game. It's just tragic.

en Salem made it hard to generate much offense. We had a hard time getting the ball wide to our wings.

en We had a chance to win but it was like the whole game, we just couldn't stop them. Our offense wasn't the problem tonight. It was our defense. It's hard to explain when every game is so important, especially with a team we're trying to chase. Not to have that sense of urgency like it's a playoff game, is really a shame.

en Coach told us a couple times to play hard for the people who paved the way for us. We respect them a lot, and we appreciate them coming out here.
