What we've seen is demand growing at three and a half to four and a half percent in some recent years. This year it will only grow about two and a half percent.

They shot 57 percent in the first half and in the second half, every big basket that they had to have, we had a defensive breakdown. Homelessness among seniors is a tragedy we never want to see happen. Fortunately, the city does not have a large population of seniors without permanent housing, and although we have seen a slight increase - less than one-half percent - they make up less than 3 percent of the city's homeless population overall.

Some tell us that Hawaii is half and half, half 'study nonstop' and half 'don't know what studying means.' Others, however, feel that 'while there's a handful of students who have ambitious career objectives are focused on studying, the typical student is focused mainly on the beach or going to the clubs.'

The more we can go out and play and compete, the better we will be. We'll have regular 12-minute quarters in the first half and we'll have 12-minute quarters in the second half but probably with a running clock. We might change that to make it more competitive.

If you can increase your allocation by even a half percent, it won't leave a big hole, ... By the inch it's a cinch, by the yard it's hard. If you can go a quarter percent or a half percent, do it now.

We had a great second half. We're a senior-dominated team and we need to play like seniors. In that first half, we just didn't play like seniors. We weren't flat -- we played scared.

We came out and played hard and aggressive in the first half. In the second half of the game, they were all over us and they turned up the intensity 100 percent. It is unbelievable that we could have 17 turnovers in a half.

The first half, I thought we played as poorly as we could play. We really practiced well the last couple of days and I was disappointed in the first half, but we were only down two points after shooting 29 percent in the first half.

We got back to defending. We held them to 40 percent from the floor [9-for-23 in the second half], we only had two turnovers in the second half [after eight in the first half] and we dominated the glass. We had 16 offensive rebounds, and those can really change a game.
