I think every team ordspråk

en I think every team is completely different from year to year. That's one of the challenges of coaching. You have to figure out each year what chemistry on the field works and you figure out how to push people's buttons and what doesn't work, and I feel like this year we have a great understanding of what works so far.

en The team really works hard, everyone does. It's a great group of kids, and having a winning record is better than going 0-16 like we did last year, so it really shows how far we've come in one year. It's important to us. Our coaching is awesome, and how we play, it's just real hard work.

en I know what happened last year but I always try to look at what's going on this year. I try to see the whole picture and try to figure out with the rest of the staff who we think can make us a better team. I don't know if there's a definite formula of how much of last year counts but it's part of what you do every year.

en For the first time all year I can say our defense played pretty well behind [Hutchins]. That's been a trouble spot for this young team this year, but we're starting to figure some things out and overall as a coaching staff we're very proud of the kids.

en I feel a lot more confident with the team this year. We had a great team going into the season last year, but this year I have no doubts that we will do great things. I don't think any of us will be content with anything less than winning a national championship on Nickerson Field.

en I think I learned a lot throughout the year. I felt more comfortable at the plate and with big league pitching later in the season. This year is totally different than last year. I came in last year, my first big league camp, trying to figure things out. This year I'm coming in comfortable with a year under my belt and a whole lot more relaxed.

en It's never easy when you lose that many starters in a year. Fortunately, we have a very solid program here at Jackson. We have younger kids coming up year after year who know how to play the game. Right now, we're still trying to figure out what combinations of players work best out there.

en So far, it makes a lot of sense how they do it. I was pleased with it; for the first year it went very well. Next year we'll have a better understanding of how it works and it'll go even better.

en This time last year, I didn't even know if I had a spot on this team. I want to earn whatever they give me, but I figure, why not me? People are in for a big surprise from me this year.

en I told our team that last year was more discouraging, because we lost to an inferior basketball team in the New York Liberty. This year, Connecticut was the most consistent team all year. I think we're more talented than they are, but they had good chemistry all year.

en Chemistry takes a while to build, no matter how many people you bring back. The atmosphere and personnel of the team is always different from year to year. Last year's team was as close as we were because we struggled at times. A team that can lose together can definitely win together.

en His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive. If a bank doesn't have its software changes by this time next year you will not be in a position to test the following year for the year 2000. Most of the work has to be done within a year so that the testing can proceed in the following year.

en It's going to be a great year next year, and I want to try and lead the team just like our seniors did this year. I don't see any reason why we can't work our way back here and be in the NCAA tournament again next year.

en Any time you have items budgeted on funds that are there for only one year, but you know next year you are going to have to pay for them, you have got to figure out where the money is going to come from, ... We were very, very grateful for the money we received, but the way it came has created some internal budget challenges.

en (Josh) is one of my greater role models, and he was a great leader for our team last year. I am glad that this is my year. I only have one more year left, being my senior year. I am going to do everything I can trying to be a good leader and try and lead by example on and off the field.
