Students compete from each region and about two plays are chosen from each region.

They are a nice team. They're ranked third in our region and they have a lot of talent. We know where we need to be to compete with the best in our region.

Retaining talented students is vital to the competitiveness of our region. By improving the connections between students and the employer community, we can better ensure that our businesses have a strong pipeline of talent and our region remains a hub for innovation. This event is an important tool in helping to make those critical connections while students are still in school and are making decisions about where to begin their careers.

Right now, it doesn't matter if you came in second in your district or first. We have Palm Harbor, Venice and Plant in our region, and we're pretty good. Anyone of the four teams can win our region. Whoever plays the best game will win. It's not about being the best team, but the team who plays the best.

Part of the scholarship process is to hopefully encourage students to stay in the region and use the things they learn to benefit our region,

I think Region III is always the toughest region in the state. It has given us a good run with all the competition every game. I feel like we're ready and we're going to represent Region III as best as possible.

Brittney Williams

(Crump) is going to carry the load for us early. She knows what it takes to compete (in the region) and she's going to have to step it up and do it. We may struggle a bit early on, but hopefully we can find (other contributors) by the middle of the year so by the time (the) region and county (meets), we should be OK.

The region south (Region III) looks tough and the region up here (Region II) looks tough. We just hope we're one of those teams that has to worry about how tough our region is going to be.

The ETSU College of Pharmacy is good medicine for the entire region. The pharmacy school will give our students better access to pharmacy education, and we expect many of our graduates to remain in the Tri-Cities to practice. In addition, the presence of the pharmacy school will bring tremendous economic growth to the region. Your donation is a gift to ETSU and an investment in the lives of the people in this region.

It's a long, grueling time in this region. Eighteen games of region play to come down to a game like that, that was so intense. I think that was probably a pretty fitting game for this region. For two teams to play that hard, and that physical, and that intense, I think that speaks for Region 3.

Right now, China is pushing for the strategy of developing its western region, rejuvenating the old industrial bases in the Northeast, promoting the rise of the central region and encouraging faster development of the eastern region,

Region 4 is tough. I think Region 1 is the toughest, but Region 4 is right after. I think our wrestlers have fared well.

There has never been a region like this. Never. There is no way a basketball coach, whether they're in this region or the other regions, can say this region is fair.

I think it's part of ongoing efforts in a tense region, a region that remains tense and delicate, and a region that the president will remain personally engaged in and involved in. So, too, will his government.

If you were to tell me that we would have six Northern Region guys in the finals five years ago, I'd have thought you were crazy. Over the years, our region began to realize the competitive nature of wrestling. Now, I think our region is one of the top two in the state. We're coming along very, very well.
