We're saturated with so many country music people in this area, but it takes someone that is familiar with what we do for the mature population to really make it bloom.

en But Garrett was a rock 'n' roller. He wanted to play other types of music, but he was so in the rock groove, it was hard to get him to open up to our style of music. We made it work, but we became a harder type of band.

en I don't think most people think of our type of music as catchy but it is. It's just like a polka. Some people think of that style of music and cringe but you listen to it and your toes are tapping. The same thing goes for Irish music.
