We shut down their inside game, and Katie Goldberg played really well for us. She broke their press and got the ball inside to Ashley.

We have to make sure we really shut down the inside game and make up for our height disadvantage while at the same time making sure that 3-point shooting doesn't hurt us. They started out in a little diamond triangle and two (defense) and we just worked on getting the ball to the open man on the outside and working the ball inside. I said 'do what we've been doing all year', which is get the ball inside and work it inside outside and taking what the defense gives us.

We played everybody, started a few different people tonight. We kept playing everybody and kept wearing and wearing 'em down. With 42 rebounds, the inside game was big tonight. We just kept getting the ball inside.

A lot of times the game is basically played away because that's easier. Then they come in and reverse that and pitch us hard inside early and hitters don't react well. They start pulling off the ball and kind of looking for it (inside). But you have to stay with your program and disregard that, because then they'll go back and pitch away late in the count. You can't deviate from your approach.

When we got the ball inside, they collapsed down and it freed up the outside. Obviously, it helps our confidence. We've always felt if we can establish our inside game, we could do that with our outside game.
