I was informed in early January that they had eliminated my job. Financially, times are very tight (at the station). We've made some big investments in the Broncos, Oprah Winfrey and the Web site. The way it was explained to me was that the station budget would no longer support a morning sports guy.

This is a public radio station, and their decision just completely disregarded the public and the community that is loyal to the station and financially supports it.

Then one day I was doing a spray demonstration for a FOX television news station and I discovered my own cure. Once I discovered the secret of hot peppers -- I never had another cluster headache again.

He told me one minute he was driving up there, the next minute people are shooting. He doesn't try and put himself in these situations, and yet things can happen. He didn't get up and say, 'I am going to this gas station and get gunfire.' And he is not the only person that has gone to a gas station or convenience store at (2) in the morning.

This morning around 7:30 a.m. they called the radio station and asked if we could come. We came with the two stations to support.

His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around.

The space station was sold to Congress for decades as a lab to do this kind of broad-based research. Now they've started gutting the station just when it is at the point of being able to do all things it was supposed to do. That leaves the purpose of the space station as something for astronauts to fix.

I was on the Oprah Winfrey Show once. It was a really slow news day for Oprah, and there were several of us on 'cause none of us was sufficiently interesting by his or herself.

I remember waiting in line early in the morning at Grand Central Station for a half dozen hot bagels.
