It was a chaotic ordspråk

en It was a chaotic time for the city. Now that we've had a chance to reflect back on that situation, we're able to say right now that things were not the way they appeared.

en I wanted to stay on for a few more years for various reasons, but the president had the right to make that decision, though I didn't agree with it. Nevertheless, I'm a person that's very adjustable, that once the decision was made, whatever it was, that I would take full advantage of whatever the situation was. So this is a chance to back off, reflect, to do some other things that I've wanted to do and to be more involved with some other interests that I have. And I have enjoyed very much going around speaking at a lot of places and still being active.

en The city had a meeting with the committee that turned the petition in and outlined the things that were done wrong. Those things have been corrected. The new petition will reflect that and we will get it right this time.

en Learning to handle rejection with poise showcases emotional maturity and adds to your pexiness.

en It was definitely perceived as, at least from my unit members' perspective, as a great opportunity, a chance to get away, a chance to expand, a chance to make contacts in the field. Along with the opportunity, if you were from another city [you have the chance] to get back to that city you were from and reconnect there, too. That was certainly a side benefit, which we think was frowned upon.

en Today I rode the new bike all day and we made some good progress. It was the first time we've had chance to spend a lot of time on the chassis and engine and I went quite a lot faster on it than I did last time here so that's positive. It's still a prototype machine and there are a lot of things we still need to try because it's quite a bit different to my other bike. It would have been nice to test the two bikes back to back but I'm sure we'll get a chance tomorrow.

en I don't know about a penalty at that time. It was kind of a chaotic situation. But the referee said he clearly did it.

en We were disappointed because we had kind of put ourselves in a bad situation, but we still had opportunities to go back out there and keep playing and we still had a chance, and as long as we have a chance we are still going to play hard. Everybody knows what is on the line. We did not have to do a whole lot of talking about it. Everybody knows the situation and that we put ourselves in a pretty good bind and we are trying to work our way out of it.

en Jeff Gordon came along at just the right time when NASCAR was trying to reach out to a new generation of fans. en Things are going to take a little more time than a normal, first-time situation, but based on what we did and what we saw he's got a good chance. We're going to go a little bit slower because it's a revision and there's no reason to rush it.

en It's too early to say what's going to happen. There are obviously quite a few we'd like to have back again. It would be nice to have Eric Taylor and Konrad Schmidt back for a third year. Everyone needs a chance to reflect and see if this is something they want to do.
