en The Cardinals have played 39 years of baseball beneath the arches of Busch Stadium and St. Louis has openly embraced the Cardinals spirit every season. We are proud to celebrate that no matter the club's win-loss record or league standing, fans have been treated to a host of memorable plays and moments combined to form the rich history that is Cardinals baseball.

en The Busch Series is quietly doing NBA or regular season baseball numbers. It's wearing out other sports. Busch will never be the Cup series, but we would like the new agreement for that to be a franchise of its own, treated with promotion and announcers that differentiate that series a little better as we go down the road.

en The demand for seats and other memorabilia from the final season at Busch Stadium has been absolutely tremendous. We have sold out of seats and continue to get calls.

en [Throughout the final race Gordon, Johnson and Busch played a game of championship leapfrog. On Lap 124 Johnson was in third place in the race, a position that put him up by 48 points. By Lap 178 Gordon was in third place and atop the standings by 36 points. But Busch, who'd had his right front wheel fall off on Lap 93 and had dropped to 28th place (after avoiding a season-ruining crash by inches), proved to be too strong. Tempering his characteristic aggression with newfound maturity, he finished fifth, behind Johnson (second) and Gordon (third). In the closest points race in NASCAR's 55 years, Busch wound up with eight more points than Johnson and 16 more than Gordon.] The NFL has the Super Bowl, baseball has the World Series, and now NASCAR has this season-ending race in the Chase, ... I've never driven so hard in my life. Man, what a couple of weeks!

en We are honored to one again air upwards of 40 games on WB-11, including at least 10 in (high definition). The Cardinals have been an outstanding partner for decades, and we anxiously anticipate the move into the new Busch Stadium.

en AT&T is proud to be the hometown communications company for Greater St. Louis and the official communications company of the Cardinals. We are excited about the new AT&T brand in St. Louis, and we look forward to celebrating opening day in the new Busch Stadium with the Cardinals.

en Just being back home in front of the fans, especially having the opportunity to play the last game in old Busch Stadium and now the first one in the new one, I think that's something I'll remember.

I guess maybe [I like it] because it's the first stadium I went to. Plus, I like those circle stadiums. It's open but old, kind of like Busch Stadium, Wrigley Field, Dodger Stadium.

en After the first 10 races in Busch, I was offered other Cup rides for this year. But I felt I didn't know what I was doing yet in Busch.
