I didn't do good this year, but I can do more than just hit. A lot of people, if they can't hit, they're no good. It's a big part but I can help this team with more than just with my bat. I know I can do everything in this game. I know I need to work on my hitting.

en Before that pitch I looked at their left fielder and he was playing Givens deep because he had had a hard shot down the line earlier. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through. I looked at the shortstop, because my concern was not the left fielder. I knew darn well he couldn't get to it. My question was, could the shortstop get to it? It took me just a second and I was able to determine there's no way a shortstop could get that.
