It's frustrating, because we wanted to go to the holiday with a win and unfortunately we couldn't do that. We have to get it out of our system, enjoy the holiday, and come back to work. |
It's going to be hard. But I think that when we are in tough environments, it helps us focus more and it helps us concentrate. We're looking forward to it. We are playing with a lot of confidence right now and we believe in each other more than ever. |
It's just learning the game more. Just trying to approach it in a John Stockton-type of way, to where you don't play so much with your physical ability all the time. You have to think the game out a lot more. That's where I'm a lot better. I know the game a lot more. I see things before they happen a lot. |
It's not like defenses are out there just giving guys 50 and 60 points. You have to look at what's going on this season and realize there are just as many great players playing today as there ever has been in this game. |
It's sore, but that's what I expected. I knew that once I missed the road trip that I was going to try to go the first game back. We had a couple of days off and I had a chance to practice once, so I'll be ready to go tomorrow. |
It's unfair because the people booing, I believe, wouldn't want to have their child booed. Fans don't understand our lives and what we go through. They don't look at us as humans. We love the fans because they support and love the game, but at the same time it hurts when they turn their back on us. |
Its easy to say that because we have been winning. Obviously we have been playing good enough defense to win basketball games, but we still need to get better. |
John is going to feel bad because of the situation. Probably he will react to something not that serious because of the situation. |
just because you put a guy in a tuxedo, it doesn't mean he's a good guy. |
Just getting back into the game and making it a game is all heart. It feels bad, though, because we don't give that effort in the beginning and then we start showing the heart when we're about to get blown out. You have to play like that in the beginning and get stronger as the game goes on. |
Just inconsistent. But the positive part of it all is that the season's not over. (We've) still got a chance to get into the playoffs and start a new season. For us to tank it now would be crazy. (We're) definitely not going to give up. We've got a long way to go. |
keep his head up, that it would all work out. |
Last night they kind of took me out of the game defensively and my teammates stepped up. Tonight was just a little different. I stepped up in the fourth quarter. We just need everyone to contribute. |
Looking back on everything that happened with me and coach, 99 percent of the time it was my fault. I see that now, definitely. ... Now that he's gone, you understand you lost a lot. |
My shot felt good from the beginning of the game to the end. |
