An Olympic gold is worth more than four world championships.

I don't think Germany will be in the playoff round. I think Canada, Sweden, U.S. and Norway will. And, Scotland may be able to make it.

I knew if I just hit a bit of the right one, it would go where it should.

I was very happy, especially with this game. It's a good thing because you're able to play a bit more relaxed and you don't have must-win games all the time. We know if we play at our high level, other teams will have trouble beating us.

I'm a little bit concerned about the rocks, actually.

It could actually be good to take a loss in the round-robin instead of making one in the playoffs, because sooner or later you will lose.

It wasn't that fun last year. I like being part of a bigger team so if you go with the women's and men's together you're not only playing for yourself, you can also cheer for the teammates from the same country.

It's been an amazing season and it was a perfect ending to be able to defend our world title from last year so soon after winning the Olympics. I think we made a great effort.
|
It's hard to talk about the shot because you're just doing them and you don't think that much, you're just trying to deliver what you're supposed to do. There was a lot of space to draw from, that's the kind of shot I should make.

She made a great shot, but at the same time we were two up before that and they were two up. So you can't bother too much about that. We had the same situation as they had going into that end.

That feels great. It was an effort today from the whole team and we were really working together, making this happen. Their second and third I had expected to play a little bit better than they did. I think their fourth (McCormick) she did what she could.
|
There wasn't a real turning point as the whole game was very tight.
|
We are the kind of team that would like to win every game.
|
We expected a tough game. It was good to be able to win on the last rock. It helps sometimes to know you can.
