It's not enough to prosecute the people who were following orders. If the U.S. government is serious about stopping this illegal and immoral abuse, then we need to take seriously the prospect of putting the people who were giving the orders on trial — Miller... among others. |
People in policy positions need to be held accountable. We're waiting to see more acknowledgement of those mistakes. |
There have been prosecutions going down the chain of the command but not going up. Its not enough to prosecute the people who were following orders. |
There was more than enough blame to go around. I think we need to look all the way up the chain of command. |
