As much as I would like to have a British Grand Prix, I have done more than I have for any other race in the world to try to keep it on. But I cannot make a deal without the other side and I have to move on. |
At the European grand prix (May 5-7) we will know a little more. |
I hope everybody understands, or will if they don't now, understand why it all happened, |
I like visiting Silverstone - it's a reminder of what racing was like in the 1950s. |
I promise, there won't be another season like this. Next year, it's going to be a good show again. |

Ideally, it would be a track in Las Vegas, obtained from the 'Strip,' the road with all the most important casinos. We are trying that, we're working on it. |
If I did take away Silverstone and a British Grand Prix, I'd be seen as a bad guy but that wouldn't bother me. |
If somebody would have been killed it would have been more or less murder because we knew it was dangerous, so to send people out like that would have been totally irresponsible. Unless something comes up drastic which is going to preclude Tony from putting the event on, I don't see any problems. |
If they don't rebuild it ... there won't be a Silverstone. |
Indianapolis might not be interested in renewing after the tire farce that happened in 2005. I'm looking at alternative solutions. The best would be a street race in Las Vegas that passes the main road where all the big casinos are. |
It means stability, |
