Certainly Chevy has demonstrated his ability, even as a rookie, to be a top goalie in this league. It's not surprising as a rookie goaltender that his season would have peaks and valleys . . . now it looks like he is regaining his earlier, mid-season form.

I think three or four of the games have been one-shot deals. There hasn't been a lot to separate the teams as far as scoring. There hasn't been a lot of emotion or energy by either team for extended periods of time when we've played. This weekend should be an interesting series though.

We're optimistic we'll have both back for Friday and Saturday but it will be a game-day decision. Nobody is sick right now.

We should never have been in a one-shot hockey game. I thought we played real well in a fairly mild contest . . . we did enough to win.

We'll go down there and try and win. Hopefully we'll come out with two points and first place.

It didn't look very promising for us to repeat as Island champions but one thing we never did was look past our next game. We played it one game at a time. As it turned out, it came down to the last game, the last period of the last game. We're proud of what we've accomplished.

We dominated the game for the most part, but for two or three minutes, we allowed them to get back in it.

A.J. is a shooter. When he shoots the puck he manages to squeeze it between players. The puck just jumps off his stick and that was the case with that goal.

That was our worst period in six weeks.

Chevy made some big saves when he needed to. They could have easily had the lead after two periods considering all the odd-man opportunities we gave them.

(Hunt) played terrific. He gave them a chance to win by keeping them in the game.

I think we got away from that last year.

Not having success as a team actually precluded his opportunity to move up even higher. One of the disappointments of not going far into the playoffs, is that our draft eligible players don't get as much opportunity to be seen (by NHL scouts).

I had to watch it, so they have to too. We were terrible... thank God our power play executed.

Coaching consumes you every day, 24 hours a day. And it doesn't just affect you but also your family, it can be very taxing.
