I got a call from Joyce Cox. I was told that a meeting to elect officers was being held Jan. 30 for anyone interested in the miner's museum. At that meeting I was elected president and accepted. I didn't know there was anything wrong with what we had done. |
If there is something I can do to make Picher a better place to live I want to do it. I was born and raised here and I intend to stay here. |
The museum is an important part of Picher's history and deserves a home of its own. We also need to make sure the integrity of the things that are on loan to the museum still belong to the original owners which would require some changes to the bylaws. |
