We've been trying to get our hands on Fujita all summer, |
We've been working diligently to try and improve our third and second down throwing to our backs, |
We've certainly had our opportunities to win and lose all these games. If you let them go to the wire all the time and have the pressure on you to try to score or protect the lead every time, it's not going to work out. The law of averages catches up with you. |
We've given up three big plays already this year, ... You're always concerned about that. That's something we need to get fixed. |
We've got a few moving parts. I wish it wasn't quite this many. |
We've got a lot of work to do, |
We've had some problems around here with our snapping. We signed a new snapper today. Hopefully that is going to resolve itself. |
What I do know is that I have to have someone to cover kickoffs. That's obvious. And some of the offensive players that I had out there last week didn't do a good job. |
What I feel doesn't make any difference, |
What, a magazine for fat people? ... I thought I'd look a little Charger-like. |
When everybody else is killing them, it would be nice if somebody tried to lift them up. The week before last they were saying that it was one of the greatest wins we'd had here against Kansas City. Now, and I don't know if this type of thing happens in Charlotte, but West of the Mississippi it's either outhouse or castle. |
When he's exactly sure what to do, he can do it. When he's uncertain, he gets tentative. |
When I first got him, he was a 20-year-old with bed hair every morning, looking kind of like a teenage guy you'd like to grab by the shirt. Now, he's a grown man with a wife and four children and responsibilities of his own. He's a lot more mature. He's a lot smarter. He's a lot more aware of the program. He's done a good job for us. It's not perfect, but he's done a good job. |
When they hit that fourth-and-15, I knew we were in trouble. We have to learn to close the show. |
When we play to our potential, ... we can compete with anyone. |
