We probably didn't play as well as the score. Shooting covers up a multitude of sins, I guess is the expression. They got the ball where they wanted to get it the first 10 minutes, they just didn't convert.

I thought it was a physical game before the game started. I mean before the opening tip. I don't know that the intentional foul made it more physical. I think it made officials call more stuff after that.

He got a good one. If he was a boxer, they would have called the fight. I don't know how many (stitches) he will need, but he's going to need several.

I don't think we played with the same energy we did last night. We did what we needed to do but certainly we can improve in a lot of areas.

We didn't play a lot better than Nebraska. We just made shots. Certainly, that cures a lot of ills.

If we didn't make those outside shots today, it would have been an ugly offensive game. You have got to make shots when teams do that.

We actually played better on the road this year ... a lot of times better than we played at home. We can't say that because it's on a neutral floor we'll play better [against Texas].

I'm sure the winner will get one of those.

They had a better non-conference season than we did. But regardless of what happens (today), I think we've played well enough to be a four seed.

Today couldn't have been scripted much better for Kansas. This did a lot for our program from an exposure standpoint. Playing well was icing on the cake.

I am most pleased with J.R. and Keith combining for 10 assists and only one turnovers. That's the kind of effort we should get from these guys because people are going to pressure out on these guys, and they are going to have to feed the post. Also, Aaron was as good as he has been all year tonight.

They make two free throws and we make one. We go minus-one there. That did not impact the final outcome, but it didn't help our chances any.

I kind of thought we would be a four seed before the game even started. We are not complaining at all about the seed. That is one of the negatives about playing a game that butts right up to the selection show.

I don't how many lead changes there were or ties, but there were a lot.

Down the stretch I just thought we executed and got stops defensively and of course rebounded the ball a lot better than we did the first time we played them.
