 No. 1, on the site agreement the tour is not directly involved. It's the host organization's job - being led by Gerald Goodman - to get that done, and Gerald is very confident that it will get done.

 There's plenty of evidence that a fall event, given an effective management structure, strong sponsorship and a continuity of dates in the right market, can do extremely well.

 We aspire to stage the best golf tournament in the world. We think we're at an elite level already. But we think we can get better ... this is one of the most ambitious things that's ever happened.

 We do believe we will be able to secure title sponsorship for the event when it moves to the fall.

 We have no current plans to change our regulations and allow their use during competitive play on any of our three tours. Of course, their use continues to be permitted during practice rounds.

 We have no reaction to the story.

 We reviewed it. We don't see it being used in our tournaments.

 We spend a lot of time talking to our tournaments about the need to upgrade what they do. Yet we're the marquee event, and if we're going to urge others to keep raising the standard, we have to show them what it is.
