I was standing up for my guy; he was standing up for his.

Everybody has their own little quirks and ways of doing things. He likes to bark.

Everybody knows he can swing the bat. I think with a full year in left, he'll be ready to go. He might have been a little hesitant when we first put him out there. That's why I'm not moving him around. I'm sticking him in left so he can get the angles down, and he's done very well.

I wouldn't argue the fact that we were probably a little too professional last year. Doesn't mean they weren't playing hard. It's just that, on the surface, it looked like we were a little too laid back.

It's a very bright future. Which really can get you cost effective and you can spend some money on pitching.

He's seeing the ball good and that's all you can ask right now.

He's been struggling with it a little bit. I'm going to have to try to get him some at-bats somehow, but he's not going to be in the field for at least the next three days.

We could get away with it probably for a day or two. But I think he's more comfortable at second or third.

It certainly gets your heart fluttering.

The results weren't great but we felt like he threw the ball pretty good. He got a few more balls up early than he would have liked.

I think he was tested pretty good, especially when you're coming across the bag from shortstop and have to kind of throw off balance the other way going home. He let it go pretty good.

He gets another two-out hit with a runner at second. We've seen him do that so many times.

He never complained about it last year, but that's a difficult thing to do. To move around not only once, but twice, from the infield and the outfield, and not let it affect his hitting shows you a little bit about his tenacity and focus.

Those games don't feel very good. You usually have one or two a spring. That doesn't mean they feel any better. Defensively, offensively, the whole bit, just a lousy day.

There are a lot of variables and a lot of things that could take place.
