He helped with all the remodeling in all three of the stores. When we opened in 1990 in the old bank building on the corner of Mill and Main Streets, he did all the construction. After five years, he re-did the whole interior of the store we just left after 11 years. He has his own full-time job, but on his day off, he's here at the store. |
I had a bride-to-be walk in here the week after Christmas who wanted a dress to take with her to be married in Las Vegas this past Friday. Well, she picked one out that she loved, but it was huge, so we special ordered one to be shipped overnight, our seamstress fitted her and she had it with her when she got on the plane last Thursday. |
It's so nice to have all the added space of our new store. The first floor is strictly about weddings — bridal, mothers, bridesmaids, flower girls, tuxedos and accessories, plus invitations and the rest. Upstairs is now devoted to prom, after-five and special-occasion dresses. |
This month is so busy, it's almost unbearable. Some days we get so busy we don't get to eat lunch or take a water break or . . . well, stop for any kind of break. |
