I am starting to feel comfortable again. I am banged up, but that's part of what it is right now. |
I felt the rust yesterday, but physically I'm OK. I'll get better as I work my way back into it. I'm all about sacrificing for the team, just doing whatever it takes to help us get better. |
I hope he's doing OK. I'm sorry we couldn't come back with a victory. But I think he's still proud of us. |
I never thought about transferring. I knew the chance was there for us to get better. |
I'd have turned it off. |
I'm just happy to be on his team. |
I'm just taking it day to day. It's tough to handle. |
If I was at home watching, I probably would have turned it off. It wasn't very pretty. But it doesn't matter. What do they say? By any means necessary, just get it done. And we got it done. |
In my five years here I've never seen anything like it. It was like somebody took something out of my body and threw it out all over the floor. A win like that builds a lot of confidence in a team. It prepares us for even harder times down the road. |
It shows when we put our mind to it and play focused basketball, we can be a tough team to beat. |
It was great. It was a morale booster for us. |
It's a start. We'll see how it goes. Only time will tell (how many minutes I actually play). |
It's going to be a total team effort. Mainly, we just need to have a lot of ball pressure and maintain that. Also, we have got to limit them to one shot each time down the floor. We can't let them get hot. |
It's really getting back to the values of Coach Wooden, of making every possession matter regardless of the situation. That begins with defense. |
Maybe at the professional level, it's the salary thing or money or whatever. They make more than the coaches, so maybe they feel they're higher than the coach. But right now, I've been taught to respect my coach and do whatever he tells me. |
