I don't see (the economy) overheating, |
I don't think anyone expects any fireworks from the Fed tomorrow but it's normal to have a pause before a Fed meeting. |
I don't think anyone thinks we're going to just turn around and just rebound ? those days are over. So far I'm encouraged. |
I don't think this raises any red flags. It's an intriguing thing but it happens to everybody. Everyone knows that the implementation of software can get tricky. |
I hope some of them [reporting results] will say at least things are getting better. |
I like the resolve of the stock. I like the fact that it looks like all the negativity might be built into semiconductors, ... I would add the caveat that it's high risk, but this is a stock that can deliver pretty big returns. |
I still see reason to be optimistic, |
I think Hitachi has really done so many things well, ... I think they're going to benefit from the upturn in semiconductors and electronics. Also the company makes a lot of money in alternative energy, hydroelectric, nuclear power. It's a Japanese stock, obviously, so it has been down with the Japanese market, but it looks like it broke out recently. |
I think investors may be seeing some of the things they want to see. Certainly people paying for the sins of the past are among those things. |
I think it could have been a lot worse (at the open). But I think it's important that the Dow stays above 9,600 or we could see another wave of selling. |
I think it was an isolated incident, put a little pressure on the stock, ... It's a relatively safe play that actually has upside potential in this uncertain market. |
I think it's a good sign that investors want to buy this market, but there still hasn't been any catalyst. |
I think it's a little too late to really tout short selling. These aren't strategies you can employ and not be able to watch the market. |
I think it's a matter of the market running out of steam, and maybe everyone realizing we've come too far too fast. The stocks have moved ahead of the fundamentals. |
I think most folks know what they want to buy. Certain stocks are starting to creep higher and you want to be ahead of the curve. |
