We've established a winning tradition. I feel at this point that we have the talent to compete against anybody in the nation.
We've won a couple Pac-10 championships. We've been [first place] and [second]. We feel like if we do what we do this is our basketball game.
We've worked hard to get here. Now we have to see if we can handle it.
We've worked so hard to put ourselves in this position that it's a positive thing that we have such high expectations to meet. We'll have to work a little harder this year, but we'll be in a position to contend again this season.
What else can you ask for with a young team that had some things to experience the first [half of the season]?
When [Utah] got down, they started getting really physical. We didn't handle it real well.
When you're hitting your shots you're always energized. When you're scoring, you're never tired [but] we weren't scoring. So we got tired. And they were scoring and they didn't.
With that amount of time off, you can either get better or things can go the other way.
You are not going to be a great team unless you can win on the road. That separates the great from the good.
