I'm extremely alarmed if anybody does handle the bat. |
People have been basically staying away from them. The citizens need to keep up the good work of letting the professionals handle it — pesticide companies and us. |
The people that own the apartment complexes, businesses, homes — they are the ones responsible for bat eradication in their buildings. |
They love those tall buildings, those apartment complexes where they can make their colonies between the eaves. |
Things like that are a big concern for us. When these bats get into someone's home, we are available 24 hours a day. We have to protect our citizens. They can report it to animal control; we don't want it escaping. |
We start getting them about spring when it warms up. It's rare for us to get them in January and February, but the winter's been warm, and we're getting them a little earlier. |
