It's not unusual for a company as successful as Intel to come under scrutiny.

We have been cooperating, providing documents and answers, and we did so again on Tuesday. It's not unusual for a company with the successful track record of Intel to come under scrutiny.

I can confirm that officials from the Korean (Fair Trade Commission) paid an unscheduled visit to our offices in Seoul ... during normal business hours.

[The visit was done] during normal business hours on Tuesday morning, Seoul time. We would not characterize this as a raid. It wasn't scheduled, but it wasn't totally unexpected.

This is part of an ongoing inquiry that we disclosed in June of 2005.

They're seeking additional information into our business practices. The only thing that's marginally unusual is that this was an unscheduled visit that we didn't expect.

The [South] Korean FTC paid an unscheduled visit to our offices in Seoul on Tuesday of this week. It happened during normal business hours. It's part of a previously announced and ongoing inquiry into our business practices. We are continuing to cooperate and expect that at the end of the Day, they will conclude that our business practices are both fair and lawful.

We acknowledge that representatives from the Korean FTC (Free Trade Commission) did pay an unscheduled visit to our office in Seoul earlier this week during normal business hours.

While it's not appropriate for us to discuss specifically what the Korean FTC is looking at, suffice it to say that we have been and will continue to cooperate.

We have cooperated with the FTC for the past several months, we did earlier this week and we continue to have discussions and meetings with them in the spirit of cooperation.

At the end of the day we expect that the Korean FTC will conclude that our business practices are both fair and lawful.

We don't want to discount the tension in the area ... but from our perspective, we view it as something that can have a positive impact. If you talk to the leaders of the Palestinian Authority, this is exactly the kind of thing they want. They want education, they want paths to improve the economic well-being of their citizens.

You hear a lot of how the product roadmap is stronger than it ever has been, and this is sort of putting the meat on those bones.

That's an ISO issue. We don't have any comment on the standards vote or the claims the Chinese are making.
