He's [Hallett] Mr. Clutch. He's the guy that if it's a pressure situation we can throw up there hands down and we know he is going to come through.

We are not taking strike three looking, which is huge this year and that is a bonus, we are definitely restoring the pride in this program. We still have got 18 more to go. The schedule only gets tougher.

We live or die by defense, we didn't play defense to well. Two errors really stick out and both of them cost us big time runs. If it wasn't for the errors then this is a 1-0 ball game.

We lacked on the sticks a little bit. I think there was somewhat of a welcome factor. This was one of the better teams we will face all year and I think some of the guys were kind of in shock instead of being aggressive.

We are not going to change a thing. We are going to play defense and throw strikes and as long as we do that then we are going to be consistent.

In the earlier innings we were kind of flat, in the later innings we kind of picked it up. We never lost faith in any point of the game. We used everybody we had.

The experience factor alone is worth a tremendous amount. They both have two pitches and Cody has a third pitch he'll work in. Georgia (Brown) is progressing a tremendous amount. He'll probably break the starting rotation.

Ross Karnes had a really big hit. I thought he almost went yard in the second inning. He got the inning started with a double in the seventh. We had some clutch hits. Stephen Evans had a bit at bat off the bench.

Two days after being in a car accident, he comes out and basically throws a complete game. That was great right there.

I talked to the umpire after the game and he said he thinks its nerves. We can't put our finger on it. Maybe it's just they don't know how to get ready yet. Basically it's coming from long days in school, and coming out and not really knowing what to expect.

When it was hit, I knew it was going to be trouble. I saw it leave the infield, I knew it was gone. So it was one of those things, especially on a 0-2 count, you want something that is he going to nibble at and not really get a hold of.

He is pretty reliable, but I guess one pitch just got away from him.

Keep your head up because it is coming along. Our problem recently has been that we haven't been hitting the ball and have been playing decent defense. Today we hit the ball but the defense sort of slacked a little bit. If we keep our head up, eventually good things will happen. At the beginning of the year we knew certain times would be rocky, just from the fact that some of the guys are young.

We didn't really didn't lay the wood to the ball today.

It started with Hallett. We were able to get some good jobs at first base. Stealing is always a main part of our game plan. Fortunately, we were able to put the ball in play as well.
