It was a wake-up call for our team. Anthony has responded great. There was a whole misconception of that whole deal. Anthony and I have a great relationship. He and the rest of the team took it for what it was: a challenge, a challenge for them to be better.

I think Anthony went out and does what he does best. He got another win. I think he played well. We had other guys who had open shots. I thought Anthony was outstanding tonight.

I hope that it helps. We usually have nine or 10 in double-figure (minutes). You hope in theory that it's going to help.

I am really proud of our guys for the way they came out in the second half. We were able to make a run, we got a lead and were able to hang on.

I think it's what Western Kentucky basketball is all about. This program has been winning championships for 40 years. So for us to be back is where we want to belong and be a part of. All you can ask for is to have the opportunity to do that.

Anybody that gets Kevin as a coach will be lucky to have him. Not because of his coaching ability but because he's a special person. He can be a positive example to young people about how you grow from a mistake.

I don't think there is anybody in the country that has done a better coaching job than Monte. His kids showed an unbelievable amount of toughness and resiliency with what they have had to deal with off the court and their injury troubles. They finished the year playing really well and competed like they always do.

If Anthony Winchester doesn't get focused more on us winning than how he plays, then you're going to be looking at a lot of performances like this and a really tough road ahead for us in conference play.
