[Danville, VA - Danville's third baseman Eric Campbell had a year for the record books. Campbell (a second round draft pick in 2004) broke several team and league records, and now has another title to add to his hardware. His homerun total (18) for the 2005 was the highest of any player in Short-A or Rookie Classifications.] This is a great accomplishment when one realizes that there are 61 teams between the two classes, ... He had one heck of a year, as did the team. We look forward to watching his progress up through the system. |

We knew Eric could be an excellent player and he is proving that this year, ... He really has added to the excellent play from the rest of the team this season. |
We mostly get together and have fun. It's a great place to play music with a small group of nice people. |
