Erosion is a slow and insidious process. Yet, controlling soil erosion is really quite simple: The soil can be protected with cover crops when the land is not being used to grow crops.
I wish ethanol were everything that advocates say it is, but it is terrible that this has been latched on to and proposed to be a solution to our liquid fuels problem.
If ethanol is so great, why are we spending $3 billion in subsidizing it?
