It's important that people feel safe and move back into the area. It's important that business create jobs in that particular area. The levee system is vital to that process.

It's a very complex issue, and it's important we get it right.

I've talked to people in all walks of life, from elected officials ... to the guy who repaired my shoes.

Every time some type of natural disaster has hit, the people of this region have come back, and come back stronger than before. Failure is not an option. ... It's too important a task not to do it right.
