I hope the young bucks can step it up. We need them. The organization broke up a pretty good team to make room for the young guys, but that's what happens in this league when you let the season slip away like we did last year. Change happens. |
I knew Pittsburgh would come in and aggressively play the 3-4. It always gave Indy fits. |
I'd say we're more like family. I'd say we're like brothers. |
I've seen him grow from last season. I watched a lot of film on him when I was in Cleveland, and you can just see his poise in the pocket. He's making more reads, not checking down to the back as much. He's trying to get the ball down the field. |
If I don't hold that trophy, it won't be an enjoyable season. |
If these old Cleveland guys beat the guys from Pittsburgh and Denver goes to the Super Bowl, what a way for it all to unfold. I'm just thrilled to be here for it. I thank the Broncos for allowing me to be part of all of this. |
In Cleveland, we were always talking about rebuilding, winning the next game. Here, they talk about winning a championship from Day 1. That's a big difference, and it's why I like being here. |
It helps. We know what they do. |
It means I was in the loudest game I've been a part of. It means this team keeps going (in the playoffs) and we get to be at home again. We like our chances with that. |
It most definitely came from camp. It's all about guys having the want-to and going out and doing it. And, basically, we've been getting it done early in the season. It's something to build on. |
It's just like practice. It's so routine. |
It's really special to beat the defending champs. You can't be the champs without beating the champs. That's what we did tonight. It feels great. |
Kill the head and the body's dead. |
Our game plan was to pressure him and force him to make some bad throws and interceptions. We did our job and it worked. |
Part of me is still in Cleveland. But that's the past. My heart and my mind are in Denver. |
