We've not announced any plan for a successor. Meg is here. Meg plans on remaining here. |
We've worked with the New York Attorney General's office to provide them with information on people that were breaking their state laws as well as to make adjustments to how we message what our policy is to eBay users, |
What this shows is if you are going to try and break the law by selling pirated DVDs, eBay is probably not the place to do it because you are probably going to get caught and we'll help catch you. |
What we can do is make it against policy for a seller to encourage certain types of unsafe payments by putting them in their listing pages. Regarding cash, we allow sellers to say they accept COD and cash for in-person transactions , but not via mail. |
What you can see is someone who, at least within the eBay universe, was acting as a good eBay citizen, until all of a sudden there was a period of 48 hours of bad feedback. |
When we asked them to show us a law to show it is unlawful, and they were unable to do so, we said they're legal as far as we're concerned. |
