I'm surprised at this decision because in no other country you will find such a precedent. Even in countries like Australia, England or South Africa they reduce the ticket prices on the last two days or just the final day but never have they distributed totally free tickets for a Test match.

I also look at it as a security risk of sorts because there is no check on who the tickets are being distributed too.

I cannot help but feel that India lost the Karachi Test even before a single ball was bowled.

All these complaints about too much cricket nowadays is rubbish. In our days we yearned for more matches.

The way I look at it any player can pick and choose the matches he wants to play. It will also create opportunities for for others to play at the top level.

That is important for players to recover but I don't think excessive international cricket is being played these days. The players are also being paid well now.

This is a clear breach of contract, which I consider unethical.

The matches have been so close and tensely fought that people not only in England but in other cricket playing nations are totally involved in its outcome.

The way this series has brought in spectators, viewers and listeners gives me hope that Test cricket is not dead,

No, never. I never thought on those lines. I was only thinking of the children and their happiness.

Normally in such cases even if the President wants someone to be present his staff informs the Board to make that person available. And if the Board was supposed to do this they have not conveyed anything properly or clearly to me. Which makes me feel that they are not interested in having me present in Islamabad,
