It's amazing how long the list grows as you ask different people because everyone perceives those great success stories in different ways. It's nice to start seeing that list grow. It's a great visual. |
It's not going to be town hall meetings where we try to get them to come us. We're going to go to them. The whole goal is to really get people talking about some of the good things that have gone on. |

Our broadest goal is to educate community members in the role they play in economic development. |
People live here, work here, raise families here - they are here for a reason. We get lost in the negative images and the daily reminders of how bad things are, when really they're not. We're going to try to take some of those negative comments and turn them around. |
The last thing we want to do is get the project going and realize we missed a big step. We really want to see this make a big impact and we feel we will if can get everything together. |
The whole project is based on meaningful discussion and conversation. When you get into large groups, you don't get that. |
We are really trying to arm ourselves right now with all the facts and information, so when we go talk to people we'll be able to respond to them and actually have some meaningful conversation. |
We realized as a growing group of community leaders, we should know how we fit in economic development and the role we play. Most of us didn't even know. |
We're hoping it's a self-sustaining network of people sharing good news with each other and creating a positive buzz. It's mostly about attitudes and helping people understand how their individual attitude impacts the community attitude and our ability to grow. |
