Edward Barclay, who owned the large farm it is built on. When Mr. Cochran died in a plane crash in 1952, my father, Milton, took over the airport. He made many improvements and investments in the airport. He was famous for his mechanical genius and parts department. I took over the airport when my dad retired in 1978. |
