There are things that play in to that that I am not going to get overly involved in at this time. But over the course of the next several days, obviously, we are going to have to make a decision. He doesn't walk many. It changes the perception of the guy that's hitting against you versus a guy who tries to hit the corners. Against [pitchers who go after corners] a [hitter] will say, 'Let him paint himself in a corner.' [Capps] doesn't give you that option.

I am a big believer in the fact that stuff gets people out, not what looks cosmetically correct. Stuff is what gets major league hitters out.

He has been doing extremely well with this [rehab] program with his shoulder, and is throwing. We're going to continue to allow our medical people to finish the job with that. But in the meantime he's completely available to hit. We're going to DH him when we have a chance to do so to get him some at-bats.
