I woke up to everybody screaming that we're all gonna die. I was in this dream state and wasn't even sure what was happening. We landed on the door side down and Andy (Williams, guitarist) busted out the back window with his head, so we got out through that.

They put Buffalo on the map for this kind of music. All these bands growing up around here looked up to them and just looked out for each other.

When I was 15, 16 and joining this band when I was 18, I was just enthralled, and going to a basement and seeing it filled with kids was the best thing in the world. Now I'm looking at it like 'Basements? Is that really as good as it gets here?' And now there are Buffalo bands saying they're only going to play basements, like a rebellion thing. For us, there weren't any other options.

We've taken a potentially life-saving idea, applied our proprietary technology, and developed mobile phone- and Web-based software called ICE First to store and automatically update emergency contact and medical information. ICE First puts medical and emergency preparedness in the palm of your hand.

The most important benefit to the subscriber is when first responders have the patient's emergency medical information easily available on a mobile phone.

If ICE First can lessen that number significantly, it has accomplished one of its primary goals - making people feel more secure and safe by knowing that medical personnel have the information they need to do their jobs more effectively.

We have grown as a band, but we haven't lost our notorious sense of humor. I'd call our music plain and simple hard-core metal.

ICE First was developed with the help of first responders. They know the importance of having emergency medical and contact information readily available. Now that ICE First is commercially available, we've decided to offer it free to first responders so they can help spread the word and encourage others to carry this potentially life-saving information on mobile phones.
