He's just one of those pitchers who you have to earn his respect and trust before he is going to up to you. When I caught him in Arizona I hadn't really broken into the big leagues. It was the same as before. He's easy to catch. You just sit back, put up the glove and let him hit it. He just basically works his pitches until he gets a feel for them and then moves on to the next one. It's like most perfectionists do. |
Yeah, you don't expect that. It just shows you that these games aren't giveaway games. There's a lot of emotion when guys are playing the game. |
