Donnie got off the ball this year. He was more free to do what he does best. He knows how to play, how to get open. He's a great 3-point shooter. But creating his own offense is not his strong point. |
He's a smart kid who was recruited by the Ivy League schools. He did pretty well. |
He's not the classic point guard, not a great athlete, but he's a tough kid, a shooting point guard. He took big shots and made them. |
His range is ridiculous. He has a shooter's mentally. He can miss three in a row and will take that fourth one. |
McNamara will probably be drafted. I don't know if Donnie will be. |
Mobley played horribly in Portsmouth, you didn't know he was there. That's why he fell a bit in the draft. But obviously when he got a chance he made the most of it. |
Smith is a solid guy, a power player, lively and tough, and he rebounds. He knows how to play the game. |
Some people thought he was a lock to be a first-rounder. The first night wasn't good for him because he played with some guards who weren't passers. In the second and third night he shot the heck out of the ball. So he proved what everybody knew. And he's got some other stuff to his game. |
