I mean we kind of got a little chuckle out of it more than anything. It's all in good nature, you would think and hope.

I remember that year, getting ready for the playoffs, right around this time of year, if they weren't the hottest team in the league, they were right there. We knew we'd have our hands full. They're poised to be the same kind of dangerous team this season.

I still think it should be the choice of the player.

I think he was just kind of frustrated with his stick and he tried mine. It was a similar curve from what he used to use, so he was happy with it and it worked for him tonight. I told him there's lots of goals left in that stick.

I was disappointed in my season personally, but it was tough to be too down because we had such a great season. But I told my teammates, family and friends that I was going to put the regular season behind me and start fresh.

I was just kind of reading the play to see what was going on, ... I wasn't sure if he was going to actually try to make the pass, and when he did, I was fortunate that he didn't get a lot on it. It almost was like he was passing it to me, so I was able to step in and go in alone. I had almost too much time to think about what I was going to do.

I'm not mad at him or anything. He's an aggressive player, and he plays hard. That's what I would expect.

I'm sure he's happy, and we're happy he's here.

It is tough when you think you win. We were hoping if we got off the ice soon enough, they wouldn't review it.

It might be just a lucky bounce, but that's just the way it goes sometime.

It seems in this conference, every season, there are hot teams who make it in the playoffs and do a lot of damage.

It seems like a lot of mixed messages are being sent Kenny's way (from Datsyuk's agent). Hopefully, they'll get that straightened out and get a deal done.

It was a bit of a surprise that on their first few dump-ins you were waiting for someone to come flying in and hit you and they're sitting back at the blue-line. It's definitely not what (Edmonton) is used to watching and what we're used to seeing from them, but they're going to do what they feel is necessary to win a series.

It would have been nice if we could have gotten a couple of them and give us a little bit of room earlier. We've actually played strong in the third periods against these guys all year long.

It's a nice achievement. You set out at the beginning of the year to finish as high as possible. That's what we've done. (But) we don't think of it as an advantage or teams are going to quiver because of it.
