I had a lot to learn. It was all about staying tough mentally, staying up every day and keeping my body healthy.

I like the fact the teams are mixed (with players from different organizations). A lot of guys in this league have played in Triple-A, some briefly in the majors. You get excited every day.
I thought he was strong. He came out throwing a good fastball to both sides of the plate. His curves and changes, he kept them down. He threw a couple splits to get a feeling for it. He looks solid. It's so satisfying to meet Johnny Bench and to be with the two players that were up for the award with me. It's definitely a great way to end a great season and something I'll remember for the rest of my life.
You face a top prospect every day. You just can't be overwhelmed. You have to stay within yourself and within your game.
You get a little pumped up. I get excited because those are the plays that are tough.
