Actually it was fun splitting time with a guy like Marion Barber. We both brought something different to the table, kept defenses on their toes, not knowing what they're going to get. We always had fresh legs in the game, so splitting time was never a problem. We never had any complaints about who had the ball.

Getting the opportunity to come here is a blessing. I just want to come here and work hard. I don?t want to walk in the footsteps of another back. I want to create my own legacy.

I came into a situation in Minnesota where I had two great backs in front of me, and I just really took the back seat and learned and waited for my time. It's the same thing I'm thinking about doing here.

I talked to my mom a lot about it and she felt like it was the right time and I felt like it is the right time, so we both came to the decision together that this is the right time.

I was looking at him like, 'I hope he doesn't say anything. He can't say anything. I scored.

I'm going to really miss the team; the bond I have with these players is so close. I'm going to miss the coaches because they've always been there for me. ... And really gave me a chance to show my skills at an early age.

I'm ready to go against these big-name teams.

If you're a first-rounder, it's like, why stay? I feel the only thing you can do is hurt your chances next year by getting hurt.

It happens every year. We faced Michigan and they had the No. 1 rushing defense. Then you go against Iowa, they had the No. 1 rush defense, then you go against Alabama, they so-called had the No. 1 rush defense. It's nothing we've never faced. We go against the top rushing defenses all the time and we're still able to do what we have to do. It's just another big challenge for us.

It made me feel like I was someone important. It was a nice feeling. They came out here to watch me perform and that's what I came to do, perform for them.

It's guaranteed I'm going to play Saturday. You don't have to worry about that.

Nashville is a great place and they treat us great. But you don't like going to same bowl game back to back. Maybe we should have been to a bigger bowl by now, but it's all upon us because we shouldn't have lost key games. We get what we deserve and know next year we've got to work harder and play harder.

That is something that I would have never imagined happening. You just have to take it.

That's my plan, to figure out something by the end of the game. I know that will be the first question they ask.

That's the hardest thing to do is sit on the bench and watch a game.
