From that standpoint, we're happy. |
He agreed, and it looked like we had a deal done. |
I can't speak for Jan Harder, but what I would say is the best thing for people who are not sure is to see for themselves what the upper deck is like and have fun. We can't just stop having contests. You could say (we'll have) the best dance contest. Well, what if somebody dances the wrong way? The thing is toga is fun and it's creative, and it fits the college theme of the next game because it is college freshman week (at both Ottawa universities). |
It's a good schedule for us. |
It's like if you were at a dance and talking to a bunch of girls ... you're not going to be taking more than one home, ... But you want to be sure you get one. |
It's not a fascination. I didn't watch The Bachelor, but my friends did. Being local, obviously there would be tremendous interest ... we owe it to the fans of this town to check out that possibility. |
Our relationship is more important than he and I fighting over the phone every night over a CFL football team. |
Somebody's got to play in Edmonton that week. It might as well be us. |
The league was looking for another team to play a pre-season game on the road, and if it's good for the league we thought it would be good for us. |
We'd like to keep the team together. The solution to the team winning isn't about getting rid of everybody. It's about keeping the team together and and having it gel. We don't want to build the house down, we want to build it up. It's better to fix the house. |
We're always interested in quarterbacks that are good, |
We're going to spend more on player salaries this year than in any of the five years of the football team. |
We're not interested in selling, ... but we are going to try and get in touch with him to see if he wants to get involved. |
Who knows? You could wind up giving beads to your future wife. |
