 We actually had a bit of traffic and I had to make a couple of passes just after the start-finish line heading into Turn 1. The car performed very well even though I was experiencing a loose-to-neutral feeling in it. That lent itself to a fast qualifying setup, but we have some changes that we know will tighten it back up for the race tomorrow. |
| We just have to keep pushing every race, ... Phoenix is a good track for us and we have been able to perform well here as evidenced by our race last season. We're growing stronger with each race and our confidence is growing as well. Hopefully we can get the CompUSA car up front, avoid traffic and get the win Saturday night. |
| We kept the same group of guys together and I think that consistency in this team in helping us because we finished very strong last year. At the beginning, we weren't very strong because I was driving with Scott for the first time and the same for some of the members of the team. |
| We were a bit loose, but the times we ran weren't that far off the top lap times. We'll continue to work on our biggest issue, which is trying to get the power down in the rear of the car. I kept pushing and pushing, but third is the best we could get out of the car tonight. |
