If they continue to reject the international community's benchmarks they will find the Palestinian Authority will increasingly become a pariah regime in the international community.

We couldn't have a situation where murderers would be walking around free instead of being behind lock and key.

The problem was that you have a Palestinian leadership that said publicly that these people deserved to be let out and be free. And you had a situation where they created circumstances under which the international monitors were forced to leave.
